Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning NSW, Sarah Mitchell MLC, visited Wingham Preschool yesterday to announce we were successful in gaining two $10,000 community grants, for Wingham Preschool and the Flying Fox Mobile Preschool, to support participation and access for children experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage.
The children at Wingham Preschool were excited about giving a card with drawings and photographs of what they do at preschool and how thankful they were for all the ‘Start Strong’ initiatives. Sarah Mitchell thoroughly enjoyed listening to the children as they pointed out to her the pictures, they had drawn on her card. Sarah explained she would place the card in a special place in her office.
